In-demand forward Marouane Chamakh, reportedly trailed by Liverpool and Arsenal among others, has refused to commit himself to Bordeaux.
"I have not extended (my deal)," he said. "I will know more this weekend when I have talked with my advisors but I believe that things must be said quickly."
Brazilian midfielder Fernando, however, does look set to commit his future to the French club.
Serie A side Genoa have been strongly linked with the player - but with the Ligue 1 leaders not eager to sell a new deal is instead on the table.
"I will stay in Bordeaux," Fernando told L'Equipe. "The club has refused all offers and there is a final meeting scheduled with the bosses on my extension at the end of next week."
