Wrexham-born forward Reginald Blore came through the junior ranks at Anfield and made his only league appearance for Liverpool as a 17-year-old at Stoke City on the 17th of October, 1959.
He was transferred to Southport in July 1960, where he scored 55 goals in 139 Fourth Division games.
He spent two years as an reserve at First Division Blackburn from 1963-65, but got his career back on track with Oldham Athletic, for whom he made 181 league appearances as a midfielder from 1965-1970.
Blore was an accomplished golfer and won the Professional Footballers' Golf Championship in 1968.
