Zenit St Petersburg have joined Chelsea and Liverpool among the growing pack of clubs chasing Jorginho and are willing to fork out £8.5m to land the Hellas Verona playmaker this winter.
The Brazilian is one of the most coveted players in Italy at the moment having made a superb start to life in the top flight for newly promoted Hellas Verona.
His first 16 Serie A appearances have yielded seven goals and propelled his side to the heady heights of sixth place in the table.
Verona are unsurprisingly desperate to retain Jorginho, but Zenit believe a bid of around £8.5m could persuade the Serie A side to part ways with the 22-year-old next month.
In addition to that, Zenit are willing to offer the player an annual salary of around £1.1m.
Arsenal and Fiorentina have also been linked with him in recent months, while Liverpool came close to signing him during the summer transfer window.
