Liverpool are preparing to buy another Suarez - after Anderlecht's £20million-rated striker Matias Suarez emerged as their top target.
Kop technical director Damien Comolli has watched the 23-year-old Argentinian in recent months - but Liverpool are just one of three Premier League clubs monitoring the player.
West Brom and another unnamed club have made their interest known to Anderlecht, but Liverpool's financial power has put them in pole position.
Comolli was shocked to discover how much the Belgian club want for Suarez Mk II, but Anderlecht manager Herman van Holsbeeck has revealed a host of top sides are trailing the forward.
Van Holsbeeck said: "There are 15 top clubs prepared to pay the money we want for Suarez and the fee could be higher than the money we received from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku last year. Matias could have gone to Russia in the winter and also Juventus, but his wife Magali did not want to go.
"Do I think Suarez is worth more than Lukaku? Well, technically he is a better player."
