St Etienne star Blaise Matuidi has revealed that he would prefer a move to the Premier League if he leaves France.
The defensive midfielder was linked with Arsenal last winter and has also been reported as a target of Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Valencia.
Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in Matuidi and it appears that English clubs would have an advantage in any attempt to sign the France international.
The 23-year-old told France Soir: "It is nice to know a club like Juventus is following you or asking about you.
"(But) the league that would suit me best is the Premier League. This is due to tactical, cultural and physical reasons, and the atmosphere in the stadiums."
