Ashley Cole could be set to receive offers from both Liverpool and Tottenham if he does not resolve his contract situation at Chelsea.
The 33-year-old's current deal at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season and having struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in recent weeks, an extension still remains up in the air.
But while Cole is unlikely to seek an exit from the Blues when the transfer window reopens next week, offers could start piling in for next term.
New York Red Bulls are believed to be keen on the England international, but Cole could be offered the chance to remain in the Premier League with Spurs and high-flying Liverpool both said to be considering a move.
The left-back was named in Jose Mourinho's starting XI for yesterday's 1-0 win over Swansea, but that was his first Premier League start since the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle at the beginning of November.
