Liverpool turn to £10million Ivory Coast forward

Liverpool are tracking Ivorian striker Lacina Traore but face competition from Fiorentina for the FC Cluj star.

Roy Hodgson is desperate to reinforce his ailing squad this month and is keen on Eljero Elia from Hamburg.

He remains keen on the Dutchman and is particularly focusing on his Liverpool attack as he looks to lessen the burden on Fernando Torres.

And Traore is on his radar after Hodgson received positive feedback from his spies in Romania regarding the striker.

Cluj are open to letting Traore move if they receive around £10m but Hodgson may have to move quickly to firm up his interest in Traore as Fiorentina are also keen on the 20-year-old.
