Liverpool and Tottenham are set to renew their race to sign Blackpool star Charlie Adam in the summer.
Both clubs had bids for the 25-year-old Seasiders' skipper rejected during the January transfer window, but the ambitious Adam looks likely to leave for one of the Premier League's top sides at the end of the season.
And both Reds boss Kenny Dalglish and Spurs chief scout Ian Bloomfield were in the Ewood Park stands at the weekend to see Adam score twice during Blackpool's 2-2 draw with Blackburn, once from the penalty spot and then with a sensational, curling free-kick.
Back in the winter window Liverpool had a £9million offer for Adam turned down and Harry Redknapp ran out of time in his deadline-day bid to land the playmaker.
But Ian Holloway has admitted that Adam has the class to play for a top club and has accepted that the Scotland international is ready to leave the club in the summer, whether the Bloomfield Road outfit escape relegation or not.
