West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame claims Liverpool want to sign him.
Diame has helped the Hammers move up to 11th in the table, with Sam Allardyce's side appearing safe from relegation now.
But the Senegal international has raised the possibility of quitting Upton Park this summer by claiming he wants to join a 'top-six' side.
"Two years ago [before joining West Ham from Wigan] I wanted to join a team with ambitions," said Diame.
"Overall, my season has been okay, although I think it is not up to last season. I started badly, but gradually I got my bearings.
"Liverpool? I can't tell you if I will be a Liverpool player next season. But I think my name is still on their wanted list.
"I don't hide it, I'm ambitious and I want to join a top-six side. I am 26 years old and it's time to take that step."
Diame was the subject of an offer from Fulham in January, but West Ham rejected their £7.5million double bid for him and Ravel Morrison.
Arsenal were also thought to be tracking Diame last season, however their reported interest never materialised into a bid.
The 26-year-old has struggled to shine this campaign, scoring four goals in 36 appearances.
