Valencia are challenging Arsenal and Liverpool to land Paris Saint-Germain starlet Lucas Digne on loan this summer.

Both Premier League giants were in pursuit of the talented left-back before he completed a £13million move from Lille to PSG at the end of last season.

He has found first-team opportunities difficult to come by this year, though - he has managed only 12 league starts and just two in the Champions League.

PSG are understandably keen to retain him, given his potential, while the 20-year-old last month admitted that he has no plans to leave the French capital for good this year.

La Liga side Valencia, however, are waiting in the wings to sign him on loan - and PSG could sanction a temporary move away from the club.
