Getting to Anfield

Local transport
Anfield is easily accessible from all major routes into Liverpool. There are plenty of ways to get to Anfield, the easiest and most convenient is by public transport.

By Train
Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. You can take a taxi (fares usually cost between £7-9) from Lime Street or buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station. On match days you can use the Merseyrail network to link with the Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station.
Travel from your local Merseyrail station to the ground is easy.
- With free parking at Merseyrail stations where available.
-For just £1.30 extra you'll get a return ticket for the Soccerbus at Sandhills Station. Just ask for Anfield, when you buy your train ticket. Or if you already have a valid Trioplus, Trio, or Saveaway it's free.

By Car
CAR PARKING
Matchday parking
There are numerous car parks near to the Anfield stadium, the following are available on a match by match basis costing £10 per game (St Domingo Car Park is only £5) - subject to change:

Please note: these car parks are only available on match days and can only be accessed three hours before each game and not before.
Non matchday parking
If you are visiting Anfield on a non matchday there are limited parking spaces at the stadium.

From the north
Exit the M6 at junction 28, follow signs for Liverpool A58 into Walton Hall Avenue, drive past Stanley Park and turn left into Anfield Road where you will see the ground.
From the south
Take the M62 to the end of the motorway, turn right into Queens Drive A5058, after 3 mile turn left into Utting Avenue, after 1 mile turn left into Anfield Road where you will see the ground.
From the east
Go via the Mersey Tunnel for which you will have to pay a toll, follow signs for Preston A580, you should come to Walton Hall Avenue, just before you get to Stanley Park turn left into Anfield Road where you will see the ground.

By Air
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approximately 10 miles from the ground, and taxis should be easily obtainable.
Alternatively, you can catch the 80A or 86A bus from the airport to Liverpool South Parkway bus/rail interchange and ask for a rail ticket to Anfield. For just £1 extra on the normal rail fare, you'll get a return journey on the Soccerbus service, which links with Northern line trains at Sandhills station.

By Bus
Based in Liverpool City Centre, take the 26 or 27 from Paradise St Interchange, a 17 from Queen Square Bus Station or a 917 from St Johns Lane, directly to the ground. The 68/168, which operates between Bootle and Aigburth, and the 14 and 19 (from Queen Square) stop a short walk away.

By Soccer Bus
Frequent shuttle buses run from Sandhills Station, on the Merseyrail Northern Line, to Anfield for all Liverpool home Premier League and cup matches.
The Soccerbus runs two hours before each match (last bus from Sandhills Station is approximately 15 minutes before kick-off) and for 50 minutes after the final whistle (subject to availability).
Please note that the Soccerbus only runs on match days.
If you're travelling by train, ask for a ticket to Anfield, and for an add-on of just £1 you'll get a return ticket for the Soccerbus.
