The burly forward‘s only appearance for Liverpool came in a First Division match at Preston North End on March 20, 1909.

For the record, the hosts won 2-0. He later played three league games for Manchester United, scoring two goals in his final game versus Newcastle in the 1912-13 season.

Incidentally he made his Man Utd debut against Liverpool. United won 2-0 at Anfield.
