Tom "Tiny" Bradshaw was a veteran of 208 league games with Bury in both the Second and First Divison when he arrived at Liverpool.
Tiny played in the last 17 league matches of the 1929-30 season, a year in which Liverpool used no fewer than 26 different players during that First Division campaign.
Used as a wing-half in his debut season, he was just as comfortable at centre-half, a position he made his own over the next seven seasons.
Although he played in two of the first three fixtures of the 1937-38 season, he was replaced by Fred Rogers. Tom's versatility and consistency saw him reach a figure of almost 300 first-team appearances for the club.
