Patrick Gordon was a winger who played in Liverpool's first-ever season in the Football League, the victorious Second Division campaign of 1893-94.
He figured in 21 of the 28 matches and scored six times as the club won the championship without losing a single match.
Although he played in the opening five fixtures of Liverpool's initial First Division season, he then lost his place and didn't play for the club again.
