Edmund Crawford made an impressive start to the 1932-33 league campaign, playing in the opening seven matches and scoring four times in the first three.
But only two of those seven games were won as Liverpool tried different players in attack and despite his promising, goalscoring start Edmund's 8th appearance against WBA at Anfield on April 29, 1933 proved to be his last in a Liverpool shirt. Crawford played 212 games for Clapton Orient (changed name to Leyton Orient in 1946) in Division Three South, scoring 73 goals.
