Watford starlet Marvin Sordell eyed by Birmingham and Liverpool

Liverpool and Birmingham City are keeping tabs on Watford's teenage striker Marvin Sordell.

The 19-year-old has came through the ranks at Vicarage Road, scoring nine goals this season - including against Portsmouth yesterday - and has caught the eye of top-flight clubs including Brum and Liverpool.

Sordell was sent out on loan to Tranmere last season to gain first-team experience and made flying to start to this campaign after being given a chance by Hornets boss Malky Mackay.
