Reports suggest that Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson will seal a deal for Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen by this Monday.

Poulsen's agent Jorn Bonnesen told Ekstra Bladet that he expects everything to be agreed by Monday.

"Poulsen is a player that Roy Hodgson likes and he expects him to play defensive midfield to recover possession," said Bonnesen.

"The deal will be done by Monday."

The Danish international is expected to cost Liverpool between £4M and £5M.
