Alberto Aquilani's agent has confirmed there has been no contact from AC Milan to sign the Liverpool midfielder.
Aquilani has been the subject of speculation over a move away from Anfield all summer, with Fiorentina failing to sign the midfielder last week.
Milan now appears to be the another possible destination for the Italian, who made the move to Liverpool from Roma for £20million almost two years ago.
The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Juventus but the Reds may be willing to sell to a prospective club for £10million.
Aquilani's agent, Franco Zavaglia told calciomercato.it that, despite all the speculation, Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has not been in contact.
He said: "At the moment, Milan haven't made a move.
"There have been Galliani's words but no other signals.
"I'm not saying what type of offer my client can get from Milan, whether it is a loan deal or a permanent move. We will wait."
