Mascherano rebuffs Chelsea interest

Javier Mascherano has rebuffed interest from Chelsea, telling them: I'll stay and fight for my place at Barcelona.

The ex-Liverpool midfielder has been in and out of the side at the Nou Camp following his £18million switch last summer.

And the Blues, along with Italian giants Juventus, made an enquiry about his availability with a view to a bid at the end of the season.
