Sylvain Marveaux has stated that he will leave Rennes on a free transfer for an English club this summer, but has not declared his potential new employers.
"I have not chosen. I have not yet signed. What is certain is that next season I will play in England," he told L'Equipe.
The former France under-21 midfielder has endured an injury prone season, having not featured since November, and explained that he will leave the Ligue 1 club on slightly unfriendly terms.
"I was able to resume training this week. I would have liked to train with my team-mates, but the club informed me that they did not want me to take part with the group.
"I enjoyed helping the club to a great season. I am disappointed at not being able to have one last match at the stadium. For 10 years, I gave what I had to give to Rennes," the Vannes born man concluded.
