Liverpool told Ajax star Eriksen not for sale this summer

Liverpool have been told to forget about signing top target Christian Eriksen this summer as Ajax say he will not be sold under any circumstances.

The Danish prodigy caught the eye during a friendly against England back in February and numerous scouts have monitored him this season.

Eriksen has a contract at Ajax until 2014 and moved to the Amsterdam club for just £850,000 in 2008.

Liverpool are keen to firm up their interest in the midfielder in the summer as Kenny Dalglish looks to reinvigorate his side with youth but Eriksen, 19, has plenty of admirers.

Barcelona are also keen on the young Dane but talkSPORT has been told by sources at Ajax that they are eager to keep Eriksen and they will not listen to any bids.
