AC Milan have joined Liverpool in tracking Anderlecht midfield wonderkid Dennis Praet, sending scouts to Belgium to take in the 19-year-old's recent performances.
Praet, who has seen his talent signposted throughout his career so far, has featured on a regular basis for Anderlecht this season, playing 24 games in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
The Belgian has also tasted Champions League football, appearing for Anderlecht in five games in the group stage and a further one in the qualifiers.
His performances in Europe's top tier competition saw countryman Axel Witsel lavish praise upon his talents.
The Brussels-based giants are keen on keeping hold of Praet, but may face a battle, with his suitors stepping up the chase.
Liverpool were sending scouts to watch the midfielder in action as early as October last year and now, according to Calcio Mercato, AC Milan have followed suit.
Praet is under contract with Anderlecht until 2015, although the Belgian club will undoubtedly want to extend that.
The attack-minded midfielder has won one cap with Belgium's U21 side.
