Hull have made a £500,000 bid for Liverpool’s Spanish defender Daniel Ayala, 20, who was on loan at the club last season.

Meanwhile fellow Championship outfit Leicester have taken another of Liverpool's former Melwood youngsters Damien Plessis on trial after he was told he can leave Panathinaikos.
