Henderson heading to Liverpool

Jordan Henderson is in talks with Liverpool after Sunderland accepted a £20million bid for the England midfielder.

But the clubs have not yet reached agreement over French striker David Ngog moving in the opposite direction.

Henderson has been linked with a big-money move away from the Stadium of Light for months.

Now Liverpool have come up with an offer the Black Cats decided they could not refuse.

A Sunderland spokesperson said: "A fee has been agreed with Liverpool for Jordan Henderson and he travels to Anfield today with the club's blessing."
