Liverpool have been moved to favourites to capture the signature of Chelsea star Ashley Cole, following reports that Brendan Rodgers is plotting a swoop for the Blues legend this summer.
PaddyPower have the Reds priced at 5/2 to be Cole's next club, and the general consensus is that he'll be released by Jose Mourinho once his current contract runs out at this season's end.
The England full-back is now 33, and his days of reigning supreme on the left flank are steadily coming to an end - but that hasn't stopped Liverpool from eyeing him.
Whilst there is always the chance that Chelsea may yet opt to offer Cole a new deal, it's looking increasingly like he will replaced by a younger, fitter model, and PaddyPower clearly believe that he is going to finish his career on Merseyside.
The former Arsenal star will most likely make Roy Hodgson's squad for this summer's World Cup, but will have a definitive decision to mull over upon his return.
