Manchester United and Liverpool are all nervously awaiting Ivan Rakitic's decision on whether or not he will be staying at Sevilla.

The 25-year-old has alerted the Premier League powerhouses as well as French giants PSG with his eye-catching displays this season, in which he has rattled home seven goals in 15 La Liga outings.

Sevilla are thought to be keen to get Rakitic to commit to a new contract, although the Croatia international admits no conclusion has been reached.

It is also thought that the club have placed a £33 million valuation on Rakitic to deter suitors.

"Now, news does not exist about my future," he told the club's official website.

"I have returned from my holidays and during these dates I did not use the phone. I will attend a meeting with the Sevilla directors and speak with calm.

"After, I will decide the best option for me in all senses."

Rakitic's current deal expires in June 2015.
