Spurs and Liverpool target Christian Eriksen has played down reports he wants to come to the Premier League.
The talented 21-year-old Ajax playmaker has been continually linked with a move away from the Eredivisie and has attracted interest from the Premier League's leading lights.
Eriksen has also piqued the interest of clubs in Italy and Germany, such is his growing reputation.
But Eriksen has dropped a bombshell for Spurs, by saying he wants to join a Champions League club, something the north London outfit can't offer at the moment.
"There has been contact with a club from Germany and one from Italy," his agent Martin Schoots told Tuttomercatoweb.
"He will only leave Ajax to join a team that are automatically qualified for the Champions League and fighting for the title every season.
"He is still very young, very appreciative towards Ajax and happy to stay. At the moment we are not in talks with Ajax but we will be if a move doesn't materialise in this window.
"One thing is for certain, he won't leave on a free transfer."
