Benfica midfielder Nolito has emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool, according to reports in Portugal.
Nolito joined the Portuguese giants last summer from Spanish side Barcelona and managed 11 goals in 29 league appearances in his debut season for Benfica.
However, reports in Portuguese newspaper Record claim the 25-year-old is desperate to depart Benfica and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to be keen.
The Spaniard is under contract with Benfica until 2016 and has a £39million buy-out clause in his deal but the Portuguese outfit may make Nolito available for loan if it becomes clear the player sees his future elsewhere.
