Liverpool are being linked with a summer move for Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez, but Arsenal are tipped to beat them to him.
With Liverpool's lack of a killer touch beginning to cost them vtal points, no more so than on Saurday when they created chance after chance against Arsenal but only scored one and lost to a late Robin Van Persie goal, so they are now being linked with strikers across Europe.
The 23-year-old Argentinian is currently plying his trade with Anderlecht but his agent Jorge Cyterzpiler says there is a queue of clubs trying to sign him, with some reports suggesting Arsenal have already done a deal, including both Manchester clubs and Juventus in Italy.
Cyterzpiler told Italian website Calciomercato: "The player has attracted interest from clubs in England and Italy. Liverpool have been spoken about but both Manchester clubs are also watching him. Juventus also have a chance to sign him.
"In April I will be in Italy to discuss his future. In the summer he will certainly move on but Anderlecht won't let him go for cheap."
The asking price appears to start at around £10m but may well rise in the future.
