The Spanish striker tallied 29 per cent of your vote after an impressive display against the Blues.

Raul Meireles came second with 20 per cent, while Martin Kelly clinched third after collecting 16 per cent.

Kelly did, however, scoop the Liverpoolfc.tv journalists' man of the match award after another assured performance at right-back.
