On another one of those special nights in front of the Kop, the Reds produced the goods. They'd contained Inter expertly and pounced through Dirk Kuyt's 85th-minute opener. The ground was still rocking when Gerrard scooped the ball out on the right three minutes later and sent a shot swerving onto the far post and into the net.
