Tommy Robertson was a Scottish winger who enjoyed a successful four-year spell at Anfield at the end of the 19th Century and the beginning of the 20th.
He had played professionally with two clubs in the land of his birth before joining Liverpool in March 1898 and marking his debut with a goal against Sheffield Wednesday.
He only missed a single league match over the next two seasons and contributed 14 league goals, a terrific total from a man in his position.
In 1900-01 he was again ever-present as Liverpool collected their first Division One championship title.
After making 25 league and cup appearances in his final season on Merseyside (1901-02), Tommy returned to Scotland to play once again for Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh.
