Argentine winger Sebastian Leto joined Liverpool in the summer of 2007.
The tall left-sider began his career with Club Atletico Lanus, where he broke into the first team in 2005 and scored eight goals in 52 league games.
The Reds beat a host of other clubs to his signature, including Real Betis and River Plate.
After signing, Leto told Liverpoolfc.tv: "There were a number of offers in from Argentinian and Spanish clubs, but as soon as Liverpool expressed an interest, it became a very easy decision.
"It is one of the biggest clubs, and they are always playing for so many trophies. Liverpool has such a good image in Argentina - I was always aware of them as a kid."
The youngster made his competitive debut in a Champions League qualifier against Toulouse on August 28, 2007.
Unfortunately, work permit problems ensued, meaning a season-long loan to Greek side Olympiacos was essential to gain first-team experience in 2008-09.
He made a permanent switch to Greece but to play for Panathinaikos.
