Robert Colvin was one of the very early players in Liverpool's long and illustrious history.

His three league appearances for the club go right back to the 1897-98 First Division season, when the Reds finished in ninth position. Robert's debut came when he was selected in the forward-line for the away game at Blackburn on January 8, 1898 but he only played twice more for the first-team towards the end of that same season.
