A centre half who had to wait nine years for his Reds debut because of WWII. Easdale made two league appearances for the club during the 1946-47 First Division championship-winning season.
Deputising for regular centre-half Laurie Hughes. Easdale's opportunity to play as cover for the experienced Hughes came in the away match with Stoke City on Christmas Day, 1946 and the home fixture against Derby County on March 22, 1947.
He then disappeared into Third Division and his career never took off.
