Barry Jones made his one and only Liverpool appearance in the UEFA Cup against Finnish minnows Kuusysi Lahti in 1991.

The Reds lost the second leg 1-0 but went through 6-2 on aggregate.

A former amateur with Prescot Cables in the North West Counties League and apprentice painter and decorator obtained by a £500 donation.

Left back Jones later became a regular at Wrexham playing 252 games from 1992-1998.
